1. 2/6/2016 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT IMPROVEMENTS Town of Elkton, Virginia Bids on the referenced project will be received in the Office of the Town Manager, 173 West Spotswood Avenue, Elkton, Virginia until 2:00 P.M., local prevailing time, Thursday, March 3, 2016, and then publicly opened. Bids may be withdrawn in accordance with the Code of Virginia Section 11-54(A) Procedure (ii). The Town will award the contract on a lump sum base bid. The project will consist of construction of the following work: Two new secondary clarifiers with splitter box Return activated/waste activated sludge (RAS/WAS) pump station modifications Aerobic digester modifications New ultraviolet disinfection chamber Upgraded ultraviolet light equipment Associated site improvements and incidental related work.
