The next level in senior living

The Woods Assisted Living and Seasons community is the next level in senior living. Assisted living is for people who need to have some help with the activities of daily living or maybe just have someone cook their meals.

In addition to providing three nutritious meals a day for residents, The Woods keeps each apartment clean, provides laundry services, including ironing, and provides extensive recreational activities. Regular manicures are even included as part of The Woods' amenities.

There is always something going on. Days begin with planned activities of daily living as well as recreational time with other residents. Residents recently enjoyed peach cobbler and homemade peach ice cream from the peaches they picked up at the Orchards, and, for the sixth consecutive week, Herbert Miles was named the Nintendo Wii bowling champion. Then there are the bridge games, gospel singings and watermelon socials.

The Woods recently added a new service -- The Woods at Home, a service where we will go out into the home and assist those who are not quite ready for assisted living and want to live in their own homes as long as possible. "They might need some help with light housekeeping, cooking and that sort of thing.
